Acceptable In The 80s

Remember when drug paraphernalia was classy as f? Me neither. But before the criminalization of drugs by the people who enjoyed them as teens (thanks boomers); high-end drug paraphernalia made of precious metals and leather good was sold on Fifth Ave to models, executives, designers, and the list goes on.

New Camera: Canon T5i

I recently got a Canon T5i DSLR camera and I am really happy with it. Before I had a Canon XTi and although it gave me 5 great years, I hated it ! It was always slow to focus, poor lightning, and I had to jump through hoops to take photos from simple zooming and dark settings (and don't get me started on the flash). I'm sure it was partially my fault (because *your camera doesn't matter, if you a great photographer doesn't matter if you use an iPhone* mantra). But I'm happy to be done with it. I like the new T5i because taking jewelry product photos are so easy now! I don't even need expensive lightning (wish I had known that before), now all I need is the sun and the sun is free. Here are some of the photos I took. I am using the kit lens, although I do have the 50mm f/1.8.On the XTi I never used the 50mm, I thought it was because something was wrong with the lens, but I see I just hated that damn camera... Anyways enjoy these photographs I took carelessly with the T5i and see how clear and lovely they are with hardly any effort! I also photographed all the new Art Deco Edwardian Vintage Rings with this camera!

By the way, I barely edited these photos or at all!

New Vintage Rings

Lots of new vintage (oxymoron) in the store. It took alot to find these rings. My vintage area is usually very small because its usually hard to find good quality vintage jewelry that doesn't look like crap. Lots of  Georgian, Edwardian, Victorian and Art Deco Vintage Rings. The two ruby rings are very "Great Gatsby" as my associate said.. I almost want to keep them all for myself!

Moon of my life...

my sun and stars....
if you don't know that quote then you've been missing out!

The Silver Vintage Style Crescent Moon Necklace is the most recent item in the store. It is a nice vintage style 70s crescent moon. This dainty crescent moon is silver plated over brass and comes on 16" thing silver plated chain . I am starting to become more in love with astrology; well I always was but now its re-manifesting. The moon is a a powerful symbol. It may not get as much attention as the sun (as  the sun pretty much illuminates the  moon.) As beings one you can either to be slaves to the sun or servants to the moon, I pick the moon! The moon is the mirror to the sun , and represents the gathering knowledge but taking more careful way of learning. The moon is usually associated with the female essence (moons have 30 day cycles), water (moon tides),  and the most popular in pop culture ---wolves. Tarot says that pulling the Moon card means feeling fear, believing illusions, stimulating the imagination and feeling bewildered but only to do those who fear the dark and the moon. For those who don't, the moon is the light that guides you through your darkest times.

BTW, we also have other moon symbol jewelry too

1920s Vintage Art Deco Edwardian Silver Ring

I may start getting into more vintage pieces especially for weddings. However its sometimes difficult to luck upon such rings in my current location. In New York City it was easy to find great vintage jewelry pieces; almost to the point its like "WHO WOULD GIVE THIS AWAY!?!" But I digress. Here is one of rings I am selling. Its 1920s Art Deco Edwardian Ring. Maybe it was a wedding ring or promise ring. Who knows? But it is in a size 5.5-5.75 (smaller hands back then) and its .925 sterling silver!
